Driver Misses Curve, Leading to Deadly Wreck in Brooklet
BROOKLET, GA – A man driving a Chevrolet pickup truck missed a curve on the road, causing him to lose control of his vehicle, ending in a crash that resulted in his death Saturday.
This solo collision occurred before 9:15 p.m. on Stilson-Leefield Road, south of Georgia 24, Grice Connect reports. Authorities confirmed the man did not wear a seatbelt and was thrown from his truck as a result. The man, 47, local to the area, immediately gave in to his injuries.Â
Georgia State Patrol, The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office, Bulloch County EMS, and the Bulloch County Fire Department all responded to the scene. GSP Post 45 started an investigation and has not released other details at this time.
