Driver sought following hit-and-run in Hampton
HAMPTON, GA – Henry County police are looking for a driver who had fled the scene outside a Publix on Jonesboro Road after striking another vehicle last Saturday.
Officers believe the driver, who they suspect to be a black woman, was operating a two-door sedan, possibly a Honda Civic, FOX5Atlanta reported. They have obtained footage of this person, indicating she was wearing a dark-colored jacket and a tan-colored dress and carrying some type of purse.
The public is asked to contact police if they have any information about the suspect, her possible whereabouts, and about the hit-and-run.
No new developments have been reported at this time.
