Driver Strikes Tree, Claiming One Life in Marietta
MARIETTA, GA โ A driver of a car drifted off Powers Ferry Road, went into oncoming traffic, went down an embankment, and then collided with a tree, claiming one life Wednesday.
Atlanta First News said this solo collision occurred around 5:45 p.m., and the two occupants, a driver and a passenger, were sent to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where one passed away.
The Cobb County Police Department has asked commuters in the area to contact their department should they have any more information about the specifics of this crash.
