Drivers’ Lives Claimed In I-75 Wrong-Way Wreck In Crisp Co.
CRISP COUNTY, GA – Two drivers lost their lives in a wrong-way collision on I-75 Wednesday, 13WMAZ reports.
The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office said the crash took place around 1 a.m., when one of the motorists, for reasons unclear, was driving north on southbound I-75. That driver struck another vehicle head-on.
​​Cordele Police Department, Crisp County Coroner, Crisp County Sheriff’s Office, Crisp County Fire Rescue, and EMS all responded to the scene. Authorities are working to establish the victims’ identities and have not stated their ages and places of residence at this time.
