Emergency Crews Dispatched to Crash on Southbound I-85 Near Duluth
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – Part of Interstate 85 near southeast Duluth was blocked Thursday morning following a collision, according to Triple Team Traffic.
The incident occurred on the southbound highway at Pleasant Hill Road, near Mall Corners Shopping Center, in the Gwinnett Place area. By 8:06 a.m., the two right southbound lanes were blocked at the exit, causing delays.
At this time, local officials have not shared any information indicating the cause or nature of the crash, but shortly before 8:20 a.m., crews had moved the scene to the right of the roadway. While traffic was moving again, delays lingered.
