FedEx truck slams into Buford home, sending driver to hospital
BUFORD, GA – A FedEx driver was hospitalized for serious wounds after his truck slammed into a home on Tattersall Terrace NE, causing major damage to the house Tuesday.
This collision happened after 4 p.m., according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The impact damaged the side’s home, and officials confirmed the house’s structural integrity was compromised.
The technical rescue crew team had bolstered the home’s corner until building specialists arrived.
A heavy-duty truck was seen removing the commercial truck from site.
The driver was initially found on the ground outside the home. At this time, officials did not provide an update on his current condition, and Gwinnett police did not release a statement regarding the exact cause of this crash.
