Female Pedestrian, 72, Fatally Hit by Speeding Driver in Cumming
CUMMING, GA – A pickup truck driver, who was said to have been speeding, had struck a 72-year-old woman crossing an intersection, resulting in the pedestrian’s death Sunday.
At around 9:30 p.m., the motorist, operating a black pickup truck, had struck the woman when the traffic light just turned red at the GA 400 and Jot ‘Em Down Road junction, according to 11Alive. Â
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said the woman immediately succumbed to fatal wounds.
Authorities did not confirm any pending citations or criminal charges filed against the driver.
