Fiery Car-Wreck in McIntosh Co. Claims Lives of Mother, 4 Kids
MCINTOSH COUNTY, GA โ A 27-year-old woman and her four children lost their lives, and another person was injured after a fiery collision on I-95 South Sunday.
Georgia State Patrol told WFAA that around 6 a.m., the 27-year-old woman, driving a rental car, had collided with a second vehicle. Troopers said the woman was driving to Florida to meet her husband.
GSP identified the woman as a Raleigh, North Carolina, resident and said her children were 9, 4, 2, and 3 months old.
First responders reported no injuries for the other driver but said EMS crews took their passenger to a hospital for unspecified treatment.
Authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the wreck.
