Fiery Wreck Shuts Down I-285 West in Sandy Springs
SANDY SPRINGS, GA – A fiery collision on I-285 West Sunday prompted the Georgia Department of Transportation and fire crews to shut down all of the lanes for several hours.
This wreck took place around 7 a.m. along Roswell Road, and crews reopened the area around 11 a.m., Atlanta News First reports.Â
Officials did not say what caused the vehicle fire, specified the number of people and vehicles involved, said if anyone was injured or needed to be sent to a hospital.
