Fiery Wrong-Way Wreck in Atlanta Sends 4 to Hospital
ATLANTA, GA – One driver was traveling the wrong way on I-20, leading to a fiery collision that sent four people to Grady Memorial Hospital Wednesday.
This crash happened before 3 a.m. Hamilton E. Holmes Drive, WSB-TV 2 reports. Immediately after Georgia Department of Transportation personnel, officers, and fire crews arrived, they shut down the eastbound lanes for a few hours for the fire mitigation, scene clearance, and investigation period, reopening the area around 6:30 a.m.Â
Police did not specify the contributing factors that played a role in this wreck. They did, however, confirm that one individual, among the three other occupants, was left in critical condition.
