Fire Crews Summoned to Big Rig Fire in Buford
BUFORD, GA – Fire crews and Georgia State Patrol responded to a fiery big rig collision on I-985 South after 5 p.m. Monday.
Upon arrival, fire crews shut down the area and reopened all lanes around 7:30 p.m., Atlanta News First said. GSP confirmed no hazmat-related materials were on board the truck, and the driver was spared from serious injuries.
Troopers are actively working to pinpoint the exact cause of the fire and wreck.
