GA DoT shuts down I-285 in Forest Park due to truck rollover crash
FOREST PARK, GA โ Georgia Department of Transportation crews had to shut down I-285 East connecting to I-75 South on Monday due to a semi-truck rollover crash.
The collision took place before 5 a.m., and the impact caused debris to scatter all over the interstate, including the opposite directions, prompting the closures, Atlanta News First reports.
During the temporary shutdown, commuters were urged to use I-675 as an alternative route as authorities cleared the area. All lanes were expected to clear around 8 a.m.
No one appeared to have been seriously harmed.
