GDOT Crews Close SR 15, Old Athens Rd. In Nicolson Due To Crash
NICHOLSON, GA – Georgia Department of Transportation crews had to shut down the SR 15 and Old Athens Road junction around 3:13 p.m. due to a collision.Â
GDOT personnel estimate that they will have the scene cleared by 4:30 p.m. In the meantime, commuters are advised to seek alternative routes and avoid the area altogether as crews clean up debris, tow trucks come to remove the affected vehicles, paramedics render aid, and officials pursue their investigation.
