Hall Co. Deputies Investigate I-985 Collision in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, GA – The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a collision that occurred on I-985 South at exit 17 Thursday morning.

Deputies first mentioned the collision at 7:53 a.m. At that point, crews were able to remove the affected vehicle(s) from the interstate lanes and onto the shoulder. While the collision was not blocking any lanes, drivers were still informed to expect delays as crews worked to remove the impacted vehicles from sight altogether.

County deputies have not been able to confirm the contributing factors behind the crash, the number of automobiles involved, or if anyone was injured.
