Icy Road Conditions Play Part in Deadly Crash in Stonecrest
STONECREST, GA – Authorities suspect a pickup truck driver crashed into a patch of ice at the intersection of Panola Road and Thompson Mill Road, leading to their death Wednesday.
This collision happened before 6 a.m. and also involved a rental box truck, WSBTV said. The box truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with DeKalb County Police.Â
Officials are investigating the circumstances behind this collision and did not disclose the victim’s age, gender, and place of residency.
