Jeep Driver, Deputy Hurt in Covington Failure-To-Yield Crash
COVINGTON, GA โ A driver of a gray Jeep Cherokee failed to yield while turning left, which resulted in a crash involving a Butts County deputy reported Monday.
After the Jeep overturned on GA 142 upon colliding with the deputyโs vehicle, FOX5Atlanta said. Georgia State Patrol and EMS crews responded to the scene before 6:15 a.m.
Upon arrival, ambulance personnel transported the Jeep motorist and deputy to Piedmont Newton Hospital for treatment of minor wounds.
Troopers did not say whether or not they cited the Jeep motorist for failing to yield.
