Left-Turning Car Hits Motorcycle, Sending Trooper to Atlanta Hospital
ATLANTA, GA โ A Georgia State Patrol trooper, riding a motorcycle, was taken to Grady Hospital after he was hit by a car turning left Wednesday.
Atlanta First News said the collision took place before 1:15 p.m. while the driver was turning into a private driveway from the intersection of Moreland Avenue Southeast and Eastland Road Southeast.
Officials said the trooper was operating an unmarked patrol motorcycle and appeared to have been on duty when the crash happened. The trooper is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries, while the car driver seems to have been unharmed.
