Locals Killed in Plane Crash in Covington Woods
COVINGTON, GA โ A Covington man and woman passed away after their plane crashed into a wooded area Saturday, Fox5Atlanta reports.
The plane’s solo occupants were departing from the Covington Municipal Airport around 11 p.m. Somewhere along the journey, the plane began to descend from the sky and then plummeted into the ground.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are actively working to investigate the exact cause of the crash.
