Major collision closes part of I-675 in Henry County
HENRY COUNTY, GA – Authorities responded to a vehicle crash last Saturday afternoon, June 22, that blocked part of Interstate 675 in Stockbridge, according to WSB-TV Atlanta 2.
The accident was reported at the I-75 interchange, past Exit 1 to Stockbridge Road. Traffic cameras captured multiple police vehicles and a fire engine at the scene at 4:33 p.m.
A stretch of I-675 was shut down during the emergency response, and motorists were urged to take I-75 or Highway 23 around the scene. By the time of WSB-TV’s report at 5:44 p.m., over an hour later, all travel lanes had been reopened to traffic.
The circumstances of the incident have not been specified, and it was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured or had to be taken to a hospital.
