Male Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car in Marietta
MARIETTA, GA – A man, who walked outside a crosswalk on Canton Road, later succumbed to fatal wounds after he was run over by a vehicle Friday.
The collision happened before 7:30 p.m. near Jamerson Road, according to Atlanta News First. After arriving, ambulance crews hurried the pedestrian to a hospital. There he passed away.Â
The Cobb County Police Department who was the primary emergency crew personnel who responded to the scene said the Mercedes-Benz driver, a man, and his passengers with him, two children, were unharmed. The department started an investigation, but did not release other details, including whether the driver would face charges.
