Man, 29, killed as car hits second vehicle head-on in Macon 

MACON, GA – A 29-year-old man operating a Nissan Altima drove west on an eastbound Gray Highway lane, hitting another vehicle head-on and losing his life Sunday. 

Georgia State Patrol told 13WMAZ that this crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. The impact of this collision caused the other car — the Chevy Colorado — to spin around before coming to rest in the right lane. The Nissan Altima also “spun out” before stopping in a “grassy median.” 

A Bibb County deputy confirmed the 29-year-old man passed away on site, while an ambulance driver took the Chevy occupants (the number was unspecified) to Navicent Macon Health for treatment of wounds deemed non-life-threatening wounds.
