Minivan Fatally Hits Motorcyclist in Macon

MACON, GA – A 19-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to Atrium Health Navicent, where he passed away around 1:45 p.m. after he collided with a minivan Saturday. 

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office told The Telegraph this crash happened before 1:15 p.m. when the van went into the path of the motorcyclist in the area of Jones Road and School Road, thus initiating contact between the two. 

The van’s back side window was shattered, the back side door was heavily damaged, and the red motorcycle was significantly damaged. The driver was unharmed, deputies confirmed.
