Missing Toddler Found, Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Macon

MACON, GA – A 3-year-old boy who was reported missing was found dead after he was struck by a vehicle in the 3900th block of Riverside Drive Monday. 

This incident happened before 4 a.m. south of North Crest Boulevard, WSBTV reports. 

Bibb County Coroner’s Office informed the boy’s family of this news and said authorities transported the boy’s body to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for an autopsy.

County officials said the boy was struck by an “unknown vehicle” but declined to confirm whether that driver fled the scene. 

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation and has not released additional information at this time.
