Motorcyclist, 65, dies in crash with 2 vehicles in Columbus
COLUMBUS, GA – A 65-year-old man on a motorcycle lost his life after he collided with a pickup truck and another vehicle on Macon Road Friday, WTVM reported.
Officials identified the man as Billy Wyatt Gay and confirmed one of the drivers was placed under custody by order of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
After arriving, Columbus authorities had to shut down Macon between Primrose and Edgewood Circle to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation process.
First responders have not released additional information at this time.
