Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Crash Near South University Savannah
SAVANNAH, GA – A male motorcyclist suffered serious wounds upon colliding with a gray car along South University Savannah on the 8000th block of Waters Avenue Thursday.
WTOC footage indicated that around four or five police vehicles arrived at the scene to render aid and investigate the specifics behind this wreck that led the gray car to sustain some significant front-end damage.
Officers closed Waters Avenue starting at Eisenhower Drive and ending at Montgomery Crossroads for the standard clean-up and investigation procedure.
At the time of reporting, yellow tape was still seen around the collision site. As it stands, officials did not specify when the scene would clear, confirmed if the motorcyclist was hospitalized, or mentioned whether anyone would face charges or citations for their involvement in this wreck.
