Motorcyclist seriously hurt in wreck near Emory University
ATLANTA, GA – A male motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with another vehicle that happened west of Emory University Monday night.
Atlanta police told Fox5Atlanta the collision took place at the intersection of Briarcliff Road Northeast and Emory Road Northeast. After the vehicles crashed, the motorcyclist was thrown from his bike. EMS personnel rushed him to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening wounds, while the driver was spared from physical harm.
Officers said an investigation is ongoing. They urge the public to contact the police department should they have more information available about Monday’s wreck.
