Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Wreck With Truck in Marietta
MARIETTA, GA โ A local male motorcyclist was left in serious condition after he slammed into a pickup truck west of Dobbins Air Reserve Base Wednesday.
Atlanta News First said the events unfolded before 5:30 p.m. when the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck turned from Walthall Avenue and onto South Cobb Drive. The pickup truck driver turned right in front of the motorcyclist, leading to the crash. The 2025 Kawasaki ZX636 motorcycle struck the back of the truck, and the force of the collision immediately ejected the motorcyclist from his bike.
EMS crews hurried to the scene and rushed the motorcyclist to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment.
The pickup truck driver was unharmed. Itโs unclear if they received a citation from police or if they could expect criminal charges.
