Multi–Auto Collision in Grantville Injures 7 People
GRANTVILLE, GA – A Honda Civic and a Ford Edge collided head-on, which caused one of the vehicles to hit a third vehicle and injure seven people Saturday.
According to 11Alive, the events unfolded around 7 p.m. First, the Honda driver swerved off GA-14 West. Then, the motorist went into the eastbound lanes and struck the Ford. This initial crash caused the Ford to rotate and then hit the Kia, which was driving behind the Civic and also going in westbound directions.
Upon arrival, Georgia State Patrol and crews shut down all lanes for one hour to clear the scene. Authorities did not specify if anyone had to go to the hospital.
