Officials Investigate Collision With Power Pole in Augusta
AUGUSTA, GA – Law enforcement is investigating the details behind what caused a driver to crash into a power pole on Saturday, Feb. 8.
WRDW said the solo collision took place before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Belair Road and left more than 400 homes without power until Sunday morning. Power officially resumed after 10 a.m.
It’s unknown if other vehicles were involved in the crash or if anyone was injured.
