One Life Claimed After 3-Auto Collision in Savannah
SAVANNAH, GA – One person lost their life after a three-vehicle wreck on the I-95 North overpass above Quacco Road Tuesday night.
The Chatham County Police Department first announced the crash at 9:59 p.m. and warranted a several-hour closure. During this time, drivers were asked to seek alternative routes. Crews reopened the area at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday.

I-95 northbound is closed in the vicinity of the overpass that goes over Quacco Road after a three vehicle collision resulting in one fatality. GSP is investigating. Drivers should take alternate routes.

The exact cause of the collision and the victim’s age, gender, and place of residency were not announced.
