Pedestrian, 32, Dies After Hit-And-Run Crash on Flat Shoals Pkwy in Decatur
DEKALB COUNTY, GA – A 32-year-old man died Saturday, December 28, following a hit-and-run pedestrian crash in southeast Decatur, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
Preliminary details indicate the man was struck by a vehicle in the 3900 block of Flat Shoals Parkway. By the time officers arrived on the scene, the driver had fled, and the victim had succumbed to his injuries.
While an investigation remains underway, officials say the male pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway at the time of the incident.
As of this writing, no information regarding the hit-and-run suspect or the striking vehicle has been reported.
