BARNETT, GA – Police are currently investigating the circumstances behind a Wednesday morning collision at I-20 East near SR 12 at mile marker 154. 

The Georgia Department of Transportation said a left lane is currently blocked, so drivers approaching the area are asked to proceed with caution. 

Officials anticipate that crews will clear the scene by approximately 6:42 a.m. 

Officers have not yet confirmed the exact cause of this crash nor said if anyone was injured or hospitalized.
