VALDOSTA, GA – A pursuit, which ended in a crash on the 2100th block of Jerry Jones Drive claimed the life of a 23-year-old man from Missouri Monday.
WCTV said the events unfolded around 2 a.m. when a Valdosta police officer tried to pull over the Missouri man at the intersection of Baytree Road and Jerry Jones Drive. Officers said the man was pursuing a “reckless turn” which prompted the response.
When the man refused to pull over, he continued driving away, which resulted in the pursuit, which came to an end at the 2100th block of Jerry Jones Drive when the man crashed his pickup truck and was then ejected as a result.
