Skateboard Rider Hospitalized After Getting Hit by SUV in Gainesville
GAINESVILLE, GA โ A 21-year-old man riding a skateboard was sent to Northeast Georgia Medical Center after he was struck by a vehicle Wednesday.
The young man was on his way to his job at Walmart when he was run over by a 2010 Chevrolet HHR SUV on southbound McEver Road near Waterford Drive, according to Access WDUN. Hall County deputies and EMS crews pulled up to the crash site around 4 a.m.
The driver remained at the scene. Police have not confirmed if the motorist was cited or could anticipate charges.
The skateboard riderโs current physical condition has not been disclosed.
