Some hospitalized, 3 dead after pursuit-fiery head-on wreck in Blythe
BLYTHE, GA – Occupants from a truck were hospitalized, and three lives were claimed in a fiery head-on collision that resulted after a police pursuit Friday.
WRDW said the events unfolded when a Blythe police officer attempted to pull over a driver who was speeding. The Sable car driver refused to stop and started driving northbound on the southbound lanes of Deans Bridge Road. Not long after, the Sable car hit the truck head-on, causing it to catch fire.
The three people inside the Sable perished at the scene, and an unspecified number of people from the truck were sent to the hospital.
