Speedy Driver Misses Curve in Forsyth, Causes Injury Truck Wreck
FORSYTH, GA – A driver of a flatbed truck was speeding when they missed a curve, causing them to crash into a ditch and the truck to overturn, injuring a child Tuesday.
The crash happened off GA 74 and GA 42, and the impact caused the truck to spill large quantities of bag-filled goods, as shown in a 41NBC photo.
The child is recovering and is listed in stable condition, while the motorist was spared from physical harm. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office did cite the driver for a child restraint violation and speeding.
