Jose Cuellar-Pimentel

Jose Cuellar-Pimentel serves as an Intake Specialist at Kaufman Injury Law and is often the first voice a new client hears when they reach out to the firm. That first conversation matters, and Jose approaches every call with the empathy, patience, and attentiveness that injured individuals and their families deserve. His role is to ensure that no client feels lost or unheard from the very first moment they contact us.
Originally from Ecuador, Jose earned a law degree from the Universidad de las Américas in Quito, an internationally accredited institution, before relocating to the United States and obtaining his paralegal certification from the University of Georgia. While his international legal education does not confer U.S. bar admission, it gives him an exceptional depth of understanding of legal systems, procedure, and individual rights, knowledge he applies daily in evaluating and supporting new client inquiries.
Jose is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, making him an invaluable resource for the firm’s Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking clients across Atlanta and throughout Georgia. For clients who are more comfortable communicating in Spanish or Portuguese, Jose ensures they receive the same clarity, respect, and thorough intake process as every other prospective client the firm serves.
Outside of work, Jose enjoys staying active at the gym and hosting BBQs with family and friends.
