State lawmaker suspected of DUI after hitting cyclist in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA – Authorities suspected a Georgia State lawmaker was intoxicated while driving when he collided with a cyclist over the weekend.
WJBF said the man is set to receive numerous charges, which include “driving under the influence of drugs and failing to follow traffic control devices.”
Police arrested the state official in the Grant Park area Thursday night.
Authorities did not confirm the time, date, and exact location of this crash or specify the cyclist’s current condition.
