Street-racing leads to hit-and-run that kills pedestrian in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA – A driver of a black Mustang was racing another vehicle when they fatally struck a female pedestrian before driving away Sunday.
This hit-and-run crash happened before 1:45 a.m. on I-20 East after Moreland Avenue Southeast, according to Atlanta News First.
Upon arrival, Atlanta police declared the woman (who was said to have walked on the side of the interstate) dead at the scene.
Officers have not released additional information at this time.
