Tailgating Leads to Injury Semi, Car Rear-End Crash in Albany

ALBANY, GA – A semi-truck driver was tailgating a 1997 Toyota Camry, leading to a rear-end collision that injured the car driver Saturday. 

This crash happened after 7 a.m. in the 2200th block of northbound Cordele Road, according to WALB. The impact caused the trailer to detach, Dougherty County Police said. 

Police said that both drivers received citations, the Camry driver for driving a car without a tag and not having lights on the trailer, while the semi-truck driver was cited for tailgating.
