Tractor-trailer wreck delays traffic on northbound I-285 in west Atlanta

COBB COUNTY, GA – Authorities were called to a big rig collision late Friday morning that blocked part of Interstate 285 in west Atlanta, according to Triple Team Traffic.

The accident, which happened on the inner loop of northbound I-285 at I-20 (Exit 10A), was first reported at 11:10 a.m.

Few details have been released at this time, but the scene had the left northbound lane blocked, causing delays in the area.

It was not immediately apparent whether another vehicle was impacted, and no injuries have been reported.

By 12:25 p.m., over an hour later, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, but motorists were advised of remaining delays.
