Update: Driver Charged for Fatal Wrong-Way Wreck in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA – Atlanta Police confirmed they charged a driver for going the wrong way and crashing into a concrete barrier, which claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman Tuesday.
To recap, this collision happened before 3:45 a.m. at West Peachtree Street and 12th Street. New details from WSBTV show that paramedics had conducted CPR on the woman. The young lady, however, did not survive and succumbed to fatal wounds at the crash site.
Officers did not disclose the driver’s charges. However, they confirmed the motorist is a woman who was sent to a hospital for treatment along with one other occupant.
