Woman, 32, Fatally Hit, Pinned in Multi-Vehicle Wreck in Bloomingdale
BLOOMINGDALE, GA – A 32-year-old woman suffered fatal injuries after a crash that led her to get pinned between two trash trucks Thursday, WTOC said.
The events unfolded before 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 17 and Highway 80, where the driver of a fully concrete truck rear-ended a small sedan, which caused a chain-reaction collision.
The 32-year-old woman from Richmond Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation. No criminal charges were formally announced.
