Woman Fails to Yield, Causing Deadly Crisp Co. Wreck with Log Truck
CRISP COUNTY, GA – An 85-year-old woman, driving a mid-size vehicle, had failed to yield to traffic while pursuing a left turn, causing her to collide with a log truck, leading to her death.
This collision happened around 7:30 a.m. last Wednesday, September 11th, when the woman was turning onto Highway 280 from Stripling’s General Store, according to WALB.
After arriving, Crisp County Coroner’s Office declared the woman deceased at 8:30 a.m.
Authorities confirmed the truck driver was unharmed.
