Woman Hurt, Another Critically in I-20 Fiery Crash in Decatur
DECATUR, GA โ One woman was injured, and another woman was left in critical condition following a fiery two-vehicle collision on I-20 Tuesday.
The crash occurred before 2:00 a.m. along Flat Shoals Road, according to Atlanta News First. A shared photo indicates a totaled and burned Toyota SUV. Fire crews shut down the area for several hours to put out the fire and for the standard scene clearance process. The connector has reopened since.
The women are currently recovering at a hospital.
Firefighters are actively working to determine the events that led to the wreck and have not mentioned any citations or criminal charges.
