Kaufman Injury Law Attorneys Named Super Lawyers and Rising Stars for 2025
Kaufman Injury Law continues to demonstrate its commitment to legal excellence, as three of the firmโs attorneys were named Super Lawyers or Rising Stars for 2025. Itโs the eighth consecutive year firm founderย Jeffrey Kaufman has earned Super Lawyers honors, while Michael G. Kaufman and Kenneth P. Raley, III have earned Rising Stars honors for the past five and seven years, respectively.
A History of Service and Commitment
Kaufman Injury Lawโs history of service and commitment to the Atlanta area goes back over four decades. Since our founding in 1977, weโve fought tirelessly for the rights of injured Atlanta residents and recovered millions in compensation for our clients. Attorney Jeffrey Kaufmanโs $25 million medical malpractice verdict is one of the largest in Georgia legal history, and our other attorneys have achieved similar results in countless other cases.
Our results donโt tell the whole story, though. Our firm offers passionate representation for our clients while providing exceptional customer service. Weโll handle all the legal work in your case, and weโre not afraid to take your case to trial if we think itโs the right move. Our skilled attorneys and support staff care passionately about each and every client, and weโre available to answer your questions or concerns whenever they arise.
About Super Lawyers and the Rising Stars Program
Super Lawyers uses a rigorous selection process to identify outstanding attorneys across various practice areas. The process begins with peer nominations, where attorneys recommend colleagues, theyโve personally observed. To prevent bias, attorneys cannot nominate themselves, and nominations from outside an attorneyโs firm carry more weight than those from within.
Once peer nominations are submitted, the Super Lawyers research team independently evaluates candidates based on 12 peer recognition and professional achievement indicators. These indicators include a nominated attorneyโs verdicts and settlements, experience, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, position within the law firm, and community service.
Finally, a blue ribbon panel of esteemed attorneys across many practice areas evaluates the candidates with the highest scores to decide who will receive Super Lawyers honors. Ultimately, no more than 5 percent of attorneys in each state earn Super Lawyers recognition annually.
The Rising Stars program follows the same stringent selection process, with the additional criteria that candidates must be either 40 or younger or have practiced law for 10 years or less. The Rising Stars distinction highlights emerging legal talent, as no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state make the list each year.
