New York Woman Dead Following Motorcycle Collision in Perry
PERRY, GA – A 57-year-old woman from Bloomingdale, New York, lost her life to a motorcycle collision that happened on I-57 North in Perry on Monday.
Houston County Corner’s Office and Georgia State Patrol told WGXATV that the New York woman, who operated a Harley-Davidson, had veered off her lanes, went across the median, and then crashed into a guardrail. Authorities arrived at the scene around 2 p.m.Â
Upon arrival, troopers declared the woman dead at the scene. Officials shut down two lanes for the clean-up process and cleared the area around 4 p.m.
Troopers are working to determine why the woman lost control of her motorcycle prior to the collision.
