WSBTV News Channel 2 said the collision took place at the intersection of Miller Chapel Road SE and Highway 38. The impact caused one vehicle to drift off the road and come to rest in a grassy area while the other stopped on the road and was seen facing sideways.
Tow truck crews towed away the vehicles at 5:30 p.m., and officials reopened the blocked lanes.
The exact cause of the wreck, including reports of injuries, remains undisclosed.
