Update: Man, 74, Dies After I-185 Crash in Columbus
COLUMBUS, GA – Authorities confirmed that a 74-year-old man had passed away after a crash on I-185 North past Williams Road Wednesday.Â
New details from CNAW News Channel 2 show that the senior citizen, a Stockbridge resident, had gone into cardiac arrest while driving, which ended in a collision.Â
Initially, law enforcement said one person was transported to a hospital after the crash. Officials did not say if this man was hospitalized and did not say if he died at the scene, during the transport, or later at the hospital.Â
Reader’s Note: While the victim’s name was mentioned by authorities and the initial source, our team has adopted a no-name policy with respect to drivers or victims of motor vehicle accidents or personal injury-related incidents.
